Robots are thought to be perfect and incapable of error, but they do depend on their programming do things right... so, in the end, if there was any kind of mistake during said programming sequence, they would be far more unreliable than random and unpredictable human beings, because they would be incapable of learning from an error that they couldn't acknowledge as such.
